Description: Tiger’s Eye is a chatoyant (shimmering) variety of quartz (SiO₂) with golden-brown to reddish hues, known for its silky luster and mesmerizing, wavy light reflection. This effect, called chatoyancy, occurs due to fibrous inclusions of crocidolite (blue asbestos) that have been replaced by silica over time, forming a parallel structure that reflects light in a striking way. Ancient Roman soldiers would carry tiger’s eye into battle, believing it would bring strength and focus.

Tiger’s Eye is believed to be a stone of protection, confidence, and mental clarity, helping to balance emotions and enhance decision-making. It is often associated with the solar plexus chakra, it is thought to promote courage, focus, and prosperity by grounding energy and dispelling fear.
