Description

Mined from: El Hammam Mine, Ahouli, Midelt, Drâa-Tafilalet, Morocco

Description: This striking fluorite specimen from Morocco features a dense aggregation of golden-yellow cubic crystals, each with sharp edges and subtle internal zoning. The crystals range in size but are uniformly well-formed, tightly clustered across the entire face of the matrix. Their soft luster and warm color give the piece a cohesive, golden tone that glows under light. The overall shape is broad and balanced, with excellent mineral coverage and minimal matrix exposure.

Moroccan fluorite is known for its vibrant coloration and distinctive crystal growth, and this piece is a strong representation of that reputation. The specimen shows classic cubic geometry with occasional stepped growth and interlocking faces. A few darker inclusions and natural variations in the matrix add visual texture without distracting from the fluorite’s clarity and color. This is a standout piece for collectors interested in well-crystallized halide minerals from a historically productive region.
