Description

Mined from: Morrison Formation, Utah, U.S.A.

Era: Mesozoic
Geological Age: 155–148 mya

Description: This one of a kind dinosaur bone fragment pair from Utah includes two matching fossil bone pieces with polished faces and natural rough edges. The pieces show dark brown, black, grey, and reddish-brown colouring, with visible bone grain, mineral-filled pores, and weathered outer texture. The pair has a strong display look because the two fragments can be shown together as related pieces rather than as a single isolated specimen.

The Morrison Formation is a Late Jurassic rock unit famous for producing sauropods and other dinosaurs. Over millions of years, groundwater carried minerals into the bone, filling the tiny internal spaces and turning the original bone into stone while keeping much of its cellular structure visible.

Spiritually, dinosaur bone is often associated with grounding, endurance, ancient strength, and connection to deep time. People are drawn to it because it represents survival, patience, and the long history of life on Earth.
