Description: Hematite gets its name from the Greek word for blood (haima), after the red colour of its powder. These flat tumbles are man-made hematite (hematine), a manufactured iron oxide material made in China that polishes to a metallic grey lustre; they are not natural mined hematite. These flat tumbles are small and discreet, easy to carry in a pocket.
