Description: Little Glass Bute is a great place to rockhound in Oregon. You would never know the lava flows there while driving by. They just look like another hill, same as the others around it. When you drive up, you start seeing the flows.
This obsidian has a weathered, and smoothed surface. Inside is fantastic lapidary grade material- i.e.: volcanic glass.

Mineral: Minimal The odd piece will have miniscule ash pockets that show up as white dots. Most pieces are free and clear of this.
