Description: Green aventurine is a variety of quartz known for its shimmering or glistening effect, often referred to as aventurescence. This effect is due to the presence of inclusions of a type of mica called fuchsite, which give the stone its characteristic green color and sparkly appearance. Green aventurine ranges in color from pale to dark green. The sparkly effect is most pronounced in stones with a higher concentration of mineral inclusions.
