Description: This one-of-a-kind Oregon fire opal is a 13.61 carat cushion cut, a rectangular shape with softly rounded corners and gently curved sides. It has a rich orange to red-brown body colour. It was hand-cut by our cutters in Jaipur, India. You will receive the exact stone shown in the photographs.

Fire opal is a transparent to translucent opal with a warm yellow, orange or red body colour, and it is clear enough to be faceted like other transparent gemstones. Oregon fire opal is known for its warm body colour. Opal is a hydrated form of silica, softer than quartz, so it should be protected from knocks, sudden temperature changes and harsh chemicals.

In crystal traditions, fire opal is often associated with energy, passion and creativity. These associations come from spiritual and folk traditions rather than scientifically established properties.
