Description: Hyalite opal is a transparent, often glass-like variety of opal. Like other opals, hyalite primarily consists of amorphous silicon dioxide and water. Hyalite opal forms in volcanic environments, often in association with other silica-rich minerals. It is most commonly found as botryoidal (grape-like) masses, coatings, or small nodules.

One of the most fascinating features of hyalite opal is its strong green fluorescence under UV light. This fluorescence is due to trace amounts of uranium within the mineral structure, making it glow vividly green in the dark when exposed to UV radiation. 

Opal, particularly clear opal such as hyalite, is often associated with the crown chakra. This chakra is related to spirituality, connection to the divine, and higher consciousness. Opal may be used to align this chakra in order to facilitate spiritual growth, enlightenment, and alignment with higher realms of consciousness. Hyalite is also associated with purification and clarity, both mentally and spiritually. It is believed to help cleanse negative energies, thoughts, and emotions, promoting a sense of clarity, peace, and serenity.
