Description

Mined from: Zard Mountain, Ras Koh Mountains, Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan

Description: This one-of-a-kind anatase specimen from Pakistan features sharp, dark metallic anatase crystals set among translucent to smoky quartz points, greenish chlorite-rich zones, and warm brown limonite-coated matrix. The anatase crystals show a classic high-luster, dark grey to black appearance, standing out strongly against the pale quartz and earthy matrix. The specimen has a dynamic, multi-directional crystal arrangement with quartz points, smaller druzy crystals, and scattered anatase crystals visible across the surface, making it an attractive collector piece with strong contrast and natural complexity.

Geologically, anatase is a titanium dioxide mineral and one of the natural polymorphs of TiO₂, along with rutile and brookite. In this type of specimen, anatase is commonly found associated with quartz, chlorite, limonite, and sometimes albite or brookite in alpine-style or pegmatitic mineral environments. The sharp crystal form, dark metallic luster, and contrast with quartz make these Pakistani examples especially appealing to collectors.

Spiritually, anatase is often associated with focus, clarity, energetic alignment, and personal direction. Quartz is commonly connected with amplification and cleansing, while chlorite is often viewed as grounding and restorative. Together, this mineral combination may appeal to collectors who enjoy specimens with both strong visual structure and metaphysical symbolism.
