Description
Mined from: Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Description: This one of a kind Aquamarine mineral specimen from Pakistan features a pale blue Beryl crystal with a blocky prismatic form and a natural broken termination. The crystal shows soft blue colour, translucent body, frosted edges, and glossy reflective faces. Fine lengthwise striations are visible along the crystal sides, with small natural inclusions, light surface etching, and a few dark mineral marks scattered through the piece. Its compact size and clean blue tone make it a strong display specimen for Aquamarine and Beryl collectors.
Aquamarine is the blue variety of Beryl, the same mineral family as Emerald, Morganite, Heliodor, and Goshenite. Pakistan is a well-known source of Aquamarine, especially from pegmatite deposits in the northern mountain regions such as Skardu and the broader Gilgit-Baltistan area. These deposits are known for producing blue Beryl crystals with natural striations, good colour, and classic hexagonal crystal form.
Spiritually, Aquamarine is often associated with calm communication, clear thinking, emotional balance, and steady confidence. It is commonly connected with the throat chakra and is often used by collectors and crystal users as a stone for peace, honesty, and self-expression.
