Description

Mined from: Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan

Description: This one of a kind Aquamarine with Muscovite on Feldspar mineral specimen from Pakistan features a tall blue-green Aquamarine crystal rising from a pale Feldspar matrix, with a second Aquamarine crystal visible along the side. The main Beryl crystal has a strong prismatic shape, flat natural faces, visible growth lines, and a darker blue-green core through the middle, with lighter translucent blue sections near the edges and termination. The Feldspar matrix is off-white to cream coloured, rough and blocky, with small angular crystal growths, beige natural staining, and silvery Muscovite blades tucked into the base, giving the piece a balanced mix of colour, texture, and structure.

Aquamarine is the blue variety of Beryl, a mineral species that also includes Emerald and Morganite. Pakistan is well known for producing fine Aquamarine from the pegmatite deposits of Gilgit-Baltistan, especially the Skardu and Shigar Valley region. Specimens from this area are often found with Feldspar, Muscovite, Albite, Quartz, and other pegmatite minerals, and are collected for both their crystal quality and their balanced matrix presentation.

Spiritually, Aquamarine is often linked with calm, clear communication, emotional balance, and a steady mindset. Muscovite is commonly associated with reflection, insight, and mental clarity, while Feldspar is often connected with grounding and self-awareness. Together, these minerals are often valued by collectors and crystal users as a combination of calm energy, clarity, and balance.
