Description

Locality: Turkey

Description: Blue Chalcedony is a cryptocrystalline form of silica composed of very fine intergrowths of quartz. It has a great, smooth texture for carving and has a nice blue translucent glow.
It has an inviting, soft blue translucence. Traditionally, blue chalcedony has been associated with calm and communication.

Chemical Composition: SiO2 

Grade: Lapidary Grade  
Appearance: Translucent
Inclusions: Almost no cracks, a very small amount of matrix.
