Description: This Sodalite mini tower from Brazil features deep indigo tones intersected by bright white veins of calcite, creating a striking natural contrast. Brazilian Sodalite is recognized for its saturated color and uniform composition, which make it particularly well-suited to carving. The mineral forms in silica-rich igneous rocks, where sodium and aluminum silicates crystallize in association with feldspar and calcite. Unlike lapis lazuli—which it’s sometimes mistaken for—Sodalite lacks pyrite inclusions, giving it a cooler, more consistent tone. The polish accentuates its matte-to-glassy luster and distinctive veining.
