Description: Often known as black jade, but this is in fact not. It takes a beautiful polish, and has a deep consistent black colour.
Actinolite is a mineral belonging to the amphibole group, which is commonly found in metamorphic rocks. Black actinolite, also known as magnesio-actinolite, is a type of actinolite that has a black color due to the presence of iron and magnesium in its crystal structure.
