Description: These adorable mini heart carvings are made from bloodstone. Bloodstone, also known as heliotrope, is a striking green variety of chalcedony (cryptocrystalline quartz) with red to brownish-red spots caused by iron oxide inclusions. During formation, iron minerals like hematite ($\text{Fe}_2\text{O}_3$) or goethite get trapped within the green chalcedony, creating the signature red "blood" spots, while inclusions of chlorite, actinolite, or hornblende give the stone its deep green color. Roman often soldiers carried bloodstone into battle, believing it granted courage, strength, and even invisibility (a bit ambitious, but hey, confidence matters).

Bloodstone is believed to enhance courage, endurance, and mental clarity, making it a symbol of strength and vitality. Historically associated with warriors and leaders, it is said to promote resilience, grounding, and protection against negativity.
