Product Title: Fossil Alligator Tooth (American Alligator)
Era: Pleistocene Epoch, commonly known as the Ice-Age, between 10,000 and 1.8 million years ago.
Alligators are polyphyodont and produce hundreds or possibly thousands of teeth during their lifespan with many of them becoming fossilized.
These alligators move from one body of water to another and doing so they cross land so their fossils end up in fossil deposits not associated with water, like caves and dry sinkholes, but typically not in large numbers.
Size approximately: 17mm x 10mm x 11.5mm
