Description: These fragments show signs of bite marks that have been fossilized soon after the animals death. Different bite marks leave different traces on the bone. Bite traces can range from punctures and pits to scores and drags which is caused when the animal drags its teeth across the bone. It is extremely difficult to determine the exact predator that made these bite marks.
