Description

Mined from: Morocco

Era: Mesozoic
Geological Age: 66mya

Description: The Mosasaur was a predator of the ancient oceans. They had a long stumpy tail and paddle-like limbs which helped the Mosasaur glide through the sea and devour pray with ease. They have sharp cone shaped teeth and a massive jaw.  Although these Mosasaur tooth fossils have been weathered down and do not contain a sharp tip, they do have the connecting bone that rests below the gumline which gives it a unique characteristic that other specimens lack.
