This is not an ancient blade, it is a recreation made in modern day. However, it is made by a highly skilled artisan. Quality blades are thin, because thick ones wouldn't fly as far. When we look down the edge- it is straight, rather than wavy and out of orientation. Lastly, the flake scaring is symmetrical, and not all over the place. These are how we determine the blade is of high craftspersonship.
