Description: Ball Burrs are essential for carving, and one of the main burrs any gem carver uses. The beauty of these bad boys is that they are high end, spinning very true, and also fine grit. The 600 and 1200 grit burrs are amazing because they are such high quality they will remove stock while actually giving a very very fine sand to the work piece. This means they can be cotton buffed at 1200g, then 3000g and you are done. Make sure you use them for detail only when removing stock otherwise the bit will be worn out way too fast.
